Privacy policy
Last updated: 7 November 2026
At MoveBlend (moveblend.com) we take care of your personal information. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and what your rights are, in line with Australian privacy law (the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles).
Who we are
MoveBlend is an online store based in Cairns, Queensland (Australia).
For any privacy questions, email us at info@moveblend.com.
We sell and ship our products within Australia only.
What information we collect
- Contact and delivery details: first and last name, email, phone number, and delivery and billing address.
- Order details: products, amounts, returns and the messages you send us.
- Payment details: these are processed directly by the payment gateway. We never see or store your full card number.
- Browsing information: IP address, device, browser, pages visited and cookies.
We collect this information when you place an order, create an account, contact us or browse the store. Without the information needed for a purchase, we can't process your order.
How we use it
- To process and ship your order and handle exchanges, returns and warranty claims.
- To answer your questions and provide customer service.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
- To improve the store and understand how it's used.
- To send you offers and news by email or SMS, only if you've given us your consent, in line with the Spam Act 2003. Every message includes an easy way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. We only share it with those who need it to provide our service:
- Shopify, our store platform, which handles it on our behalf and, for some of its own purposes, under its privacy policy.
- The payment gateway and banks, to process your payment.
- Our supplier and its order management platform, who prepare your order, and the carrier, who delivers it. They receive your name, address and phone number.
- Email, analytics and advertising tools (for example Meta, Google or TikTok), only if you've agreed.
- Our accountant and government authorities, when required by law.
Sending information overseas
Some of these services store or process information outside Australia. Your information is most likely to go to Canada and the United States (Shopify and the analytics and advertising tools), China (our supplier) and Israel and the United States (the order management platform). We choose providers that protect information and only give them what they need for their task.
How long we keep it
We keep your order information while you're a customer and then for the periods required by law (5 years for tax records, as required by the Australian Taxation Office) and for as long as any warranty applies. Marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe, and cookie information for the period shown in the cookie notice. After that, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access your information, correct it if it's wrong, delete it when it's no longer needed, and stop receiving offers at any time. Email us at info@moveblend.com with the subject "Privacy". We'll reply within 30 days.
If you're not happy with our response, you can make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (www.oaic.gov.au).
Cookies
We use essential cookies that the store needs to work (for example, to remember your cart) and, if you accept them, analytics and advertising cookies, both our own and third-party. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie notice or your browser settings.
Children
The store is intended for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
The store uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), payments are processed in PCI DSS-certified environments, and we take technical and organisational measures to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll let you know and notify the OAIC, as required by law.
Links and changes
Third-party websites we link to have their own privacy policies. We may update this policy; you'll always find the current version here, with its last updated date.
